The Context
Our clients, the co-founders and co-directors of a rapidly growing business were finding it difficult to manage their relationship which was having an impact on their approach to the business and their leadership outside of the board room.
The Challenge
The client approached CJPI to put together a group and individual coaching strategy which allowed for sessions together as a group, as well as individual development time, one-to-one with an executive coach.
Our Approach
We combined group coaching and individual executive coaching to deliver a holistic solution over a three-month initial period.
Our Solution
We used our occupational personality profiles in a group and individual coaching context to share team roles, communication styles and work through the interface between each individuals personality type. This increase in awareness brought productive and open discussions around board dynamics. This flowed into individual development sessions with each of the co-directors, who each worked on their own performance, communication and development with individual coaching plans.
The Results
Our approach delivered tangible results and a material increase in team dynamics as well as revenue and profitability over the subsequent 6-month period after our intervention.
